Refund Policy

1. The Pro subscription
FormicGuard Pro is a $49 per month subscription. It renews automatically each month until you cancel. There is also a free plan, so you can try the core scanning before you pay.
2. Cancel anytime
You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. When you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of the current paid billing period, and you are not charged again. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not, by itself, refund the current period.
3. Payments and reseller
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our authorised reseller and merchant of record. Because Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record, its terms and refund handling apply to your transaction in addition to this policy. Any refund is ultimately issued through Lemon Squeezy.
4. Refunds
Whether a payment can be refunded depends on whether you have used the service in that billing period:
- If you have not used FormicGuard in the current billing period — meaning you have run no reviews at all (no Lens scan and no Matrix run) since that payment — you may request a full refund within 7 days of the payment.
- If you have used the service at all in that period— even a single Lens scan or Matrix run — that period's payment is non-refundable.
- Either way, you can cancel at any time to stop all future charges (see section 2).
For this policy, “used” means our records show at least one scan or Matrix run associated with your account during the billing period. This keeps eligibility objective and verifiable from our own data.
Separately, if you were charged because of a clear billing error (for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after a valid cancellation), contact us and we will work to correct it regardless of usage.
These terms apply except where a refund is required by applicable consumer law or by Lemon Squeezy's own policies, which prevail where they conflict with this section. 5. How to request a refund or cancel
Cancel from your billing settings at any time. For refund questions, email dokumentc.studio@gmail.com with your account email and the charge details.
6. Changes
We may update this policy; we will update the date above when we do. Changes do not affect refund requests already in progress.
