Terms of Service

1. What FormicGuard is
FormicGuard is an AI-powered pre-check tool that scans advertising creatives (images and copy) and flags potential compliance, cultural, and regulatory risks for the Saudi Arabian market. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
FormicGuard is NOT legal advice and NOT official or government approval. A result from FormicGuard does not mean an ad is approved, compliant, or safe to publish. You are solely responsible for your ads, and you must confirm compliance with the relevant authority — for example the Saudi SFDA or GAMR as applicable — before publishing anything.
2. Your responsibilities
- You confirm you have the right to upload each ad creative and its copy, and that doing so does not infringe anyone else's rights.
- You will independently verify every result with the appropriate regulator or authority before relying on it or publishing an ad.
- You will not use FormicGuard for unlawful purposes or to attempt to evade applicable advertising laws.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
3. The service is provided “as is”
FormicGuard uses automated AI analysis, which is inherently imperfect: it can miss risks (false negatives) and flag things that are actually fine (false positives). We make no warranty that results are complete, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FormicGuard is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FormicGuard and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, nor for any losses arising from a rejected, suspended, or non-compliant ad, an ad you published in reliance on a result, or any decision made by a platform or authority. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
5. Accounts and plans
A free plan allows a limited number of scans per day. The Pro plan is $49 per month and unlocks higher limits and additional tools (Matrix bulk scanning and the Ledger of saved records). Billing and subscriptions are described in our Refund Policy, and payments are processed by our reseller, Lemon Squeezy.
6. Intellectual property
You keep all rights to the ad creatives and copy you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the service (including sending them to our AI provider for analysis, as described in the Privacy Policy). FormicGuard's own software, branding, and content remain ours.
7. Suspension and termination
You may stop using FormicGuard and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the service. You can cancel a paid subscription at any time as described in the Refund Policy.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product and the law evolve. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
[DRAFT — to be set with legal counsel.] FormicGuard targets the Saudi Arabian market; the governing law and dispute-resolution venue must be confirmed by a lawyer.
